The Fire Protection Association (FPA) is the UK’s national fire safety organisation. Recognised as an independent and authoritative source of fire safety information and advice it offers education and training, a fire risk assessment service, and a nationwide risk management survey service for insurers.

The International Institute of Risk and Safety Management (IIRSM) were established in 1975 as a professional body for health and safety practitioners. The Institution of Fire Engineers
The Institution of Fire Engineers (IFE) is a worldwide body that provides research, training, conferences and professional qualifications for firefighters and civilians who work in fields related to fire fighting, the science of fire fighting and prevention, and related technology. The IFE was established in the UK in 1918 and upholds professional standards within all public and private fire sectors by offering assessment of knowledge, experience and development. The IFE is also an Ofqual recognised Awarding Organisation.
